HAMPTON, Va. — William & Mary swimming broke a school record in the women's 200 medley relay on Day One of the CAA Championships on Wednesday at the Hampton Aquaplex. The Tribe secured two podium finishes, including a victory in the 800 freestyle relay to highlight the opening day.
The 200 medley relay team of Julie Addison, Lindsay Juhlin, Lauren Klinefelter, and Caroline Burgeson posted a time of 1:38.47, eclipsing the previous program record set at the 2025 CAA Championships by one-hundredth of a second. The Green & Gold came in second in the event behind UNCW.
In the 800 free relay, it was the quartet of Ellie Hunt, Flynn Truskett, Haley Lehman, and Tess Lankford that won gold with a time of 7:14.30, the second-fastest time in school history. It marked the Tribe's first win in the event since 2022.
The W&M women hold the most points in the team standings after one day's action.
