BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Apprentice School women's basketball team finished its season with a win as they took down Denmark Tech Wednesday afternoon, 71-60.

After a back-and-forth start to the game, the Builders took control and started to pull away, leading by six at halftime before continuing to stretch the lead to as many as 19 in the fourth quarter.

Due to injuries and foul trouble, the Builders had to play with just four players for the final four minutes of the game, but the lead didn't diminish as Apprentice fought their way to a bit of revenge after the Panthers took them down earlier this year in Newport News.

NeOndra Kelly finished with a team-high 20 points in her final collegiate game, hitting five threes on the day. Dajanelle Linton-Robinson had 15 and 10 for a double-double, while Cornasia Lamberson had 10. Joy Wright had 16 rebounds, finishing one point shy of a double-double.

The Builders finish the first year under head coach Ieshia Small Gainey with a 15-10 record, winning the NSAC for the first time in program history.
